Jacque Baldori is a pop singer-songwriter from Lansing, Michigan who uses her charismatic lyrics and powerful vocals to create music that is uplifting and energetic. Jacque’s driving values are authenticity and honesty, and this translates in her music both sonically and lyrically. Messages of positivity, kindness, and self-empowerment are common themes in Jacque’s music and this paired with her strong vocals that bear similarities to Amy Winehouse and Dua Lipa creates a sound that can be described as sincere and unique.

Singing in church at a young age led Jacque to the realization that she was musically inclined, and she wanted to find a way to move people with her gift. She also grew up with musical inspiration and influence all around her due to her musical family members. Her uncle, Bob Baldori, played piano for Chuck Berry from the time he was 18 until Chuck’s passing in 2017. Her grandfather was also a trumpet player in WWII and played with The Andrews Sisters along with many other famous musicians.

Wanting to follow in her family members’ footsteps, Jacque attended Valparaiso University for Vocal Performance, where she was a member of the Valparaiso University Chorale and performed at Carnegie Hall. She then attended Lansing Community College for Commercial Music studies, where she received her Certificate of Musicianship. After college, she then became the front-woman for a funk-pop band, Tell Yo Mama, in 2014. The group established a dedicated fanbase and performed live almost every weekend for over 5 years.

After being a part of a group for some time, Jacque desired to create something of her own. She then teamed up with Producer Ben Brown to create her upcoming project, Welcome to my World. With production inspired by Dua Lipa’s “Future Nostalgia” and Ellie Goulding’s “Brightest Blue”, Welcome to my World is an energetic 11 song collection that features themes of positivity, empowerment, and strength.

Messages of positivity, kindness, and self-empowerment are common themes in Jacque’s music and this paired with her strong vocals that bear similarities to Amy Winehouse and Dua Lipa creates a sound that can be described as sincere and unique. All of this is portrayed in her debut album as a solo artist, Welcome to my World, which has an overarching theme of learning life’s many lessons.

The first single of the album titled, “Give it Up” is a song that takes the listener on an emotional rollercoaster - starting off confused, frustrated, and lost until the chorus when the mood shifts to be sassy and confident. This song is a classic breakup anthem with the message of staying strong in your beliefs and putting your foot down and being firm when you’re not being treated fairly. It is inspired by a toxic relationship where one person is giving everything and losing themself in the process. It’s probably the most relatable song on the album, which makes it stand out.

The second single off the album is “Bubble Bath”, a fun, bouncy, carefree track about loving yourself and taking time out of your daily routine to treat yourself to the simple pleasures in life. Jacque wanted to write a catchy song that wasn’t too deep or thought provoking, just right and very relatable in this crazy world of day to day hustle.

The third single off the album is “Spread Love”, which is a happy, hopeful, fun, and joyful song about being kind, sharing your joy, and being optimistic in a terrible situation. There is also the theme of helping one another and how we are all connected - it takes a village, and we cannot make it through on our own. It came to fruition when Jacque felt the need to create a positive, uplifting moment during the pandemic. “Spread Love” was written with Tyrae Spears and Lucas Holliday, who was a contestant on season 13 of The Voice and is also known as “The Singing Cashier” due to a video of him that went viral a few years back.

Welcome to my World is an album written straight from the heart - Jacque wrote what came to mind and didn’t look back.
